We are a group of family and friends who have been involved in falconry for more than 30 years—not only in our private lives, but also through public displays and education. Moreover, we are experienced breeders of birds of prey and owls, enthusiastic ornithologists, and committed ecologists. We strive to pass on our respect for nature and the life within it—both at our rescue center in Prague-Cholupice and “out in the field” at schools, preschools, and public events. Learn more.

Barn Owl Conservation Project
Since 2009, we have been systematically putting effort into the “Return of the Barn Owl” project, through which we have already bred, trained, and released several hundred juveniles of this species into the wild.
The barn owl (Tyto alba) is classified as a critically endangered species in the Czech Republic. Just a century ago, it was a common feature of our cultural landscape, closely tied to human settlements; today, unfortunately, its population is dwindling. This is primarily due to the loss of natural habitats, fluctuations in food availability, and hazards such as chimneys and various reservoirs.
Adopting individual birds of prey and owls, or supporting the entire rescue center for a specific period of time—any option is deeply appreciated as it allows us to remain financially independent.
